Responsive Biomaterials Lab

Patience Oliveira

Patience joined the lab as a Ph.D. student in Fall 2025 after completing her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at UT Austin. Her research interests lie at the intersection of biomaterials and tissue engineering. She is currently developing a magnetic dynamic sling for the treatment of urinary incontinence. Outside the lab, Patience is a mom of two who enjoys gardening and hiking.
